This national advocacy organization would like to hear your story and include it in their reports detailing the threat of cuts to human need programs. Click on the blog link above, and then click on "read more" or "...comments..." Scroll down to the bottom of that page to log in. Then you can submit your story.

Do you have a story about how human needs programs like Medicaid or Food Stamps helped your family get by or helped out someone close to you? Do you have a story about how hard it is to survive on welfare -- and how much
harder it will be if Congress cuts back on child care and educational opportunities for welfare families? Or maybe you have an example of someone who depends on housing assistance or energy assistance and has had to make
terrible sacrifices in order to make payments?

Or if you're a human needs advocate and you have information or data about how poverty is affecting your town or state and how federal cuts will make this worse, please send that. All over America children, families, elderly and people with disabilities depend on human needs programs -- and yet the threats to these programs are greater than ever.
